Graciela Portillo

Graciela Portillo (she/they) is from Denver, CO, where she trained at Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy under the instruction of Alexei Tyukov, Maria Tyukova, and Kimberly Chmielewski. She has attended summer programs at b12, Orsolina28, Ballet Austin, and Houston Ballet Academy. At The Juilliard School, she performed works by Hofesh Shechter, Jamar Roberts, Trisha Brown, Ohad Naharin, and Tiler Peck, amongst others. They often contributed to Student Choreographic Workshops and had the privilege of being Director of Public Relations for the Alliance of Latin American Students for the 2023-24 school year. Graciela is grateful to her family, especially her Grandmother, Janet MacFarlane, for their unwavering support and is excited for the ongoing journey of discovery through dance.
